Established in 1992, this is the humble beginnings of locally owned Brothers LaZer Service Inc. We’re proud to have built one of the most recognizable service companies/brand names in the Uniontown, PA, region. In the early ’90s, Joel and Vince opened Brothers LaZer, a scan, print, and copier company in Uniontown, PA, servicing the surrounding Southwestern Pennsylvania region. Joel and Vince started re-manufacturing toner cartridges for what looked like an exciting new product in the small business market space with a bright future, laser printers. Marking the birth of a great organization on May 5, 1992.
As Vince tells it, “Brothers LaZer started in our father’s garage in May 1992.” We, like many others in the industry, never could have predicted the impact and the blistering speed at which computer technology would explode onto the scene. Brothers LaZer was perfectly positioned to go along for the ride. Over 25 years ago, we made a strategic decision to obtain Hewlett Packard authorizations for sales and repair. Our decision propelled the company to increased revenues and status in the tri-state region.

Brothers LaZer Service currently occupies a 5,000 square foot building in Uniontown, PA, about an hour’s drive from Pittsburgh. Brothers LaZer also has a division, Laser Supply and Design, in Harrisburg.

David Greene has been a dedicated member of the BLS team since 1995. He began his career in technology in 1980, selling Commodore and Atari computers, which ignited his passion for the industry. Currently, he serves as an HP Sales Executive working remotely from Port St. Lucie, FL where he resides with his wife and son, specializing in wide format HP printers, paper, and ink. David focuses on working with educational institutions nationwide ranging from K-12 to higher education; he is also S.A.M. authorized, enabling customers who use government funds to make their purchases seamlessly from Brothers Lazer. David splits his time between sales and his profound interests in Architecture, namely the works of Frank Lloyd Wright, compounding his passion with an Associate Degree in Interior Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Bob Triola has been a crucial member of Brothers Lazer Service family since 2003, initially serving as a printer and copier technician. His deep knowledge of the industry led him to excel as the Service Manager in 2017. Before joining Brothers Lazer, Bob accumulated ten years of hands-on experience in printer and copier service, which laid a strong foundation for his leadership role. His commitment to exceptional service , which spans over three decades, has been instrumental in driving the success of our service department.

With an Associate’s Degree in Network Administration from Laurel Business Institute, Tim combines his technical knowledge with hands-on expertise to deliver exceptional service. His role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of printer and copier systems, making him a key asset to our team.

Tiffany Ditmore has been a cornerstone of Brothers Lazer Service since joining the team in 2004, following her graduation from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing. Over the past two decades, Tiffany has become an invaluable asset to the company, ascending to the role of Business Manager in 2014. In her current role, Tiffany expertly oversees the company’s daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows that drive the business forward. Her responsibilities encompass financial planning, where she strategically manages budgets and forecasts to sustain the company’s growth. Tiffany is also deeply involved in organizational development, working to enhance the company’s structure and culture to adapt to evolving market demands. Her keen business acumen and dedication have made her an integral part of Brothers Lazer Service’s ability to remain competitive and innovative in a dynamic industry. Tiffany’s leadership continues to support the company’s commitment to sustainability and its adaptation to changing market conditions.

Alan VanSickle joined Brothers Lazer Service in January 2022 as an intern and transitioned to a full-time role in May of the same year. He brought with him a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Penn State University. In his current role, Alan is responsible for a range of tasks including sales, contract maintenance, and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the business. His diverse skill set and hands-on experience have made him an integral part of the team, contributing significantly to the company’s ongoing success and growth.
